BMF MTB Programs September 29 & 30, 2008The Ben Mikic Foundation is proud to annouce its association with The Outdoor Education Group based at Biloela in the Southern Highlands to bring a unique MTB Skills Based Training Experience to the cycling community of Australiacated off the Poster >> Application Form >> Medical and Ideminity Form>> Map of VC Gordon Meeting Place for MTB Training Program >> Scholarship Criteria >> Scholarships full and part are available on application to the Foundation Board by 15 September 2008. Read comments from participants on the April program pictured below The program will host three groups as follows: Level 1 Little or no MTB or off road experience. A general level of fitness is required. Objective To provide confidence to pursue further off road riding through the acquisition of good skills set. Level 2 Some MTB and/or off road experience. Good level of fitness Objective To build confidence, introduce hard skills and develop interest in off road racing. Level 3 Advance Group of MTB with experience that includes off road technically sound hard skills and/or has done off road racing. A high level of fitness required. Objective To further enhance skills set and encourage more advanced off road racing and competition. Joint Gear Sets There will be joint sessions run with mentors, MTB experienced professional cylists Who is running it ? OEG professional staff members andBMF Friends and experienced riders. Where do I sleep and eat ? Accommodation and Food is provided onsite at Biloela in the Southern Highlands. This is inclusive with your enrolment fee. Please bring sleeping bag and pillow which will be 4WD in to the cabin site. You will ride in from a safe designated rest area off the Highway near Berrima. You will need to provide cutlery, eating plate/bowls/cup and lunch for the first day only. Snacks and water as required. Group Sizes Two groups of maximum 14 riders per group. All riders will be re-grouped or groups divided further depending on enrolments. Age 11 - 20 Cost The cost is $175 per participant inclusive of food, accommodation and all MTB Tuition. A grant from BMF is available on application.
